" Bak a mii yad"

I'm sure that i speak for everyone when i say thank God that the weekend is here. this has been the most stressful and disappointing week so far. But I'm asking everyone to keep their heads up, failure is only an opportunity for hard work. From this point on we as a world should strive to take advantage of any opportunity that presents itself, we all make mistakes and some of us had a rocky start but lets use this weekend to rejuvenate and get back on track.

WHAT AM I ?

I'M ON MY WAY HOME KNOWING THAT SHE IS WAITING FOR ME, FOR SHE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT KNOWS EXACTLY HOW I FEEL. WHEN I GET IN THE HOUSE I HEAR HER SILENT VOICE CALLING MY NAME. IN MY HEART I WANT TO GO TO HER WITHOUT HESITATION, BUT OUT OF RESPECT I MUST PREPARE MYSELF TO BE WITH HER...WHEN I AM DONE CLEANSING MYSELF, I GOT TO BE WITH HER. IT SEEMS AS IF SHE KNOWS I'M COMING BECAUSE WHEN I GET TO HER SHE LOOKS READY SO I GIVE MY ALL TO HER, AS I AM WITH HER I RELEASE ALL MY FEAR, STRESS AND DEPRESSION...I ENJOY THE TIME THAT WE SHARE, BUT I KNOW THAT THE SUN WILL SEPARATE US, THEREFORE I PUT MY TRUST IN THE MOON BECAUSE IT HAS ALWAYS PLAYED CUPID....WHAT IS SHE?

SORRY, BUT I NEED A CHANGE

Some people would wonder what it is that we love to eat in Jamaica. There are many different dishes that we eat, from a variety of chickens (jerk, curry, stew, baked bbq), to a variety of fish. The national dish of the Jamaican nation is Ackee and Saltfish. Jamaica is known mainly for its exotic fruits, and style of cooking. we as a nation take pride in our culinary skills

Jamaican Music, from what i know it to be, can make you feel all types of emotions. From happiness, to sadness, pride, love and the list can go on, but on thing that will always remain constant is the idea of love and peace being the problem solver. One of the prime preachers of love and peace is Bob Marley. We as a nation stive to promote love and togetherness through our music

history of the island of "Jam rock"

This is my native land of jamaica, The island - discovered by Christopher COLUMBUS in 1494 - was settled by the Spanish early in the 16th century. The native Taino Indians, who had inhabited Jamaica for centuries, were gradually exterminated and replaced by African slaves. England seized the island in 1655 and established a plantation economy based on sugar, cocoa, and coffee. The abolition of slavery in 1834 freed a quarter million slaves, many of whom became small farmers. Jamaica gradually obtained increasing independence from Britain, and in 1958 it joined other British Caribbean colonies in forming the Federation of the West Indies. Jamaica gained full independence when it withdrew from the Federation in 1962. Deteriorating economic conditions during the 1970s led to recurrent violence as rival gangs affiliated with the major political parties evolved into powerful organized crime networks involved in international drug smuggling and money laundering. Violent crime, drug trafficking, and poverty pose significant challenges to the government today. Nonetheless, many rural and resort areas remain relatively safe and contribute substantially to the economy.
